    Job Title: CompounderJob Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as a Compounder and play a pivotal role in crafting high-quality flavor emulsions. This position requires hands-on experience with various liquid and solid raw materials, chemical handling, and the use of specialized equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Handle and weigh various types of liquid and solid raw materials, including chemicals and essential oils.

    + Utilize and maintain two-stage homogenizers and shearmills to produce flavor emulsions.

    + Blend and mix ingredients for intermediate use and finished products.

    + Perform sanitation duties, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) procedures.

    + Perform related duties as assigned by the manager in the Lab.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-3 years of experience compounding liquids in the food and beverage industry.

    + 2-3 years of experience with homogenizers.

    + 2-3 years of experience with emulsification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the food and beverage industry.

    The work environment requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment such as safety goggles.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Avenel, NJ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
