Join a leading manufacturer of commercial shelving units as a Reliability Engineer. You will be responsible for driving and supporting reliability and continuous improvement efforts throughout the company, utilizing advanced data systems. This role offers a flexible work schedule with opportunities for growth and leadership development.
Responsibilities
+ Develop best practices and standards to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Coach and teach reliability principles to plant staff.
+ Make strategic decisions and lead projects to align with corporate strategies.
+ Implement technology solutions using Oracle Cloud and SCADA data systems to communicate plant performance.
+ Use data to debug processes and improve efficiency.
+ Evaluate new assets and create solutions to mitigate risks and failures.
+ Collect and analyze data to drive and implement change.
+ Focus on process improvement, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology (IE, EE, ME, etc.)
+ 2+ years of experience in continuous improvement, process, and strategic problem-solving.
+ Experience in utilizing data to drive change and lead improvement projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ CMPP certification
+ Green Belt certification
+ MLT certification
+ Experience with Oracle
+ Knowledge of regulatory standards
Work Environment
Work primarily in a large manufacturing facility that produces shelving units found in major retail stores. The environment includes older equipment and a noisy setting due to fabrication and manufacturing lines. Engineers will spend time on the floor, collaborating with production support and working on projects. The company offers a casual dress code and a laid-back work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlebury, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $57.69/hr.
