Job Title: Plumbing Engineer

Job Description

As a Plumbing Engineer, you will join project teams collaborating with top architects, contractors, and facility owners across various sectors, including education, healthcare, research, institutional, multi-family, and mixed-use. You will apply creative solutions to complex challenges and contribute to projects from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

+ Design plumbing systems, including domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste and vent, stormwater, and various specialty systems.

+ Collaborate with professionals across disciplines to ensure project success.

+ Develop practical solutions using strong problem-solving skills.

+ Utilize BIM tools such as AutoCAD and Revit to maintain quality and efficiency.

+ Manage multiple projects, milestones, and deadlines effectively.

+ Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients.

+ Mentor team members and delegate tasks to support team growth.

+ Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail.

+ Embrace continuous learning and professional development.

Essential Skills

+ 5 to 15 years of experience in plumbing system engineering.

+ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

+ Strong communication and leadership skills.

+ Self-driven, adaptable, and team-oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with HVAC and plumbing/fire protection design.

+ Drafting skills.

+ Revit MEP proficiency.

+ Possession of a PE license is a significant advantage.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
