Job Title: Maintenance Controls Technician

Job Description

This local tier one manufacturing company is seeking an experience maintenance/controls technician to join their team on off shift. Under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor, this role provides advanced technical support for the installation, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated and electronic equipment. The technician works independently on complex projects involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and PLC systems, and supports continuous improvement and preventive maintenance efforts.

+ 2 needs on second shift (3 pm - 11 pm)

+ 3 needs on third shift (11 pm - 7 am)

Key Responsibilities:

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems

+ Modify and create PLC and HMI programs; adjust robot paths and vision systems

+ Support new equipment launches and retrofits

+ Perform and improve preventive maintenance using CMMS software

+ Respond quickly to production issues and minimize downtime

Must Have Qualifications

- PLC/HMI Troubleshooting - ability to login and view inputs/outputs to problem solve

- ABB Robot Troubleshooting

- Strong Mechanical Troubleshooting (hydraulics, pneumatics, etc)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
