Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will oversee projects and collaborate with sales teams to define project requirements. You will develop project execution plans and work with assigned project engineers or teams to execute the scope of work. Your responsibilities will include controlling internal equipment costs, labor costs, and deliveries, as well as coordinating and managing subcontractors to ensure quality, cost, and delivery control. You will interface with customers for reporting and resolution of issues, ensuring the project satisfies the proposed scope of work and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

+ Manage and oversee 5-7+ projects concurrently.

+ Collaborate with sales to define project requirements at the onset.

+ Develop detailed project execution plans.

+ Work with project engineers and teams to execute scope of work.

+ Control internal equipment costs, labor costs, and deliveries.

+ Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery control.

+ Ensure projects meet proposed scope of work and customer specifications.

+ Interface with customers for reporting and resolution of issues.

+ Provide status, spending, and schedule reporting to internal and external customers.

+ Travel to customer sites 25% of the time, mainly in the northeast coast.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of project management experience in an industrial environment.

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ Experience with electrical engineered systems and solutions engineered orders.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with PLC, drives, and HMI products.

+ Experience in metals processing and construction.

Work Environment

The role is primarily based in an office environment with occasional visits to the shop floor. The team size is typically 4-6 people, with 7 Project Managers in total. The projects managed range from $50,000 to $5,000,000. Benefits include access to company vehicles or car rental/mileage reimbursement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastlake, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
