Description
A related advanced degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience. Strong knowledge of vehicle styling and packaging. Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) required. Experience with Catia v6 (3DX) is a significant advantage. Familiarity with vehicle simulation, especially in Body rigidity, NVH, and Crash, is highly preferred. Ability to program in VBA and EKL to automate design workflows is highly preferred. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities to handle simultaneous projects and support requests. Excellent communication skills to liaise between design and CAE teams. Use industry best practices and up-to-date technologies to identify inefficiencies and improve the design process. A self-starter who proactively accomplishes tasks with minimal guidance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
1. **Experience:** A minimum of 7 years of automotive design experience, with at least 5 years in BIW (Body in White) design. We are seeking Level 2 and Level 3 engineers. 2. **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of vehicle styling, packaging, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles. 3. **Software Proficiency:** Working knowledge of Catia V6 and the 3DExperience platform is highly preferred. 4. **Skills:** We are looking for self-starters who are eager to learn new skills and can provide data-backed judgments. 5. **Location:** Candidates must be located in the USA and available to start with Honda in January 2026.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
