Reach out to [email protected] We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team 1 day a week on site in the western suburbs.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the challenge of managing complex tax matters and providing strategic solutions to clients. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing tax compliance, research, and consulting while mentoring less experienced team members.

Responsibilities:

• Review detailed and complex business , partnership, corporate and individual tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct independent research on advanced tax issues to provide well-informed solutions.

• Communicate findings and conclusions effectively to clients through clear written reports and verbal explanations.

• Offer strategic consulting and tailored solutions for clients’ tax-related challenges.

• Liaise with governmental agencies to address tax inquiries and resolve issues.

• Provide mentorship and skill development opportunities for less experienced tax staff.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax codes and regulations to ensure compliance.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and align tax strategies accordingly.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in review, research, and consulting.

• Extensive knowledge of federal tax codes and regulations, particularly for closely held corporations, non-profits, and pass-through entities.

• Strong client service and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Demonstrated expertise in researching and resolving advanced tax issues.

• Familiarity with tax planning for diverse industries and entities.

• Proficiency in federal tax compliance and related processes.
