    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

    + Perform daily bank and account reconciliations

    + Record and classify financial transactions by compiling and posting detailed journal entries

    + Maintain and update general ledger and other financial records

    + Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

    + Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

    + Assist with audits by preparing supporting documentation as needed

    + Prepare and submit sales tax filings and assist with federal, state, and local tax compliance

    + Collaborate with CPAs or tax professionals on annual tax filings and related documentation

    + Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, relevant regulations, and tax requirements

    + Perform other duties or special projects as assigned

    Requirements

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

    + 2+ years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience, including exposure to tax filings and compliance

    + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

    + Experience preparing sales and use tax returns; familiarity with federal and state tax processes

    + Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)

    + Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

    + Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

    + Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
