    Looking for an opportunity to make an immediate impact? We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to provide essential support to a company in the Des Moines area. You’ll help keep HR operations running smoothly by managing employee data, supporting benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies.     Responsibilities:

    + Manage employee data entry and updates in HR systems.

    + Communicate and interpret HR policies and procedures, including:

    + PTO guidelines

    + Employee changes (benefits, personal information, etc.)

    + Maintain and update job descriptions as needed.

    + Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and HR policies.

    + Prepare and distribute offer letters for new hires.

    + Assist with open enrollment wrap-up, including auditing reports from Wellmark and other providers.

    Requirements

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Previous HR experience or similar role required.

    + Strong understanding of HR policies, benefits administration, and compliance.

    + Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Ability to manage confidential information accurately and discreetly.

    + Resourceful and able to handle employee inquiries effectively.
