Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in West Liberty, Kentucky. This contract-to-permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who excels in financial analysis and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of accrual accounting and its impact on financial statements, along with a dedication to integrity and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

• Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Create and post journal entries while verifying supporting documentation.

• Analyze the interrelationships between balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide actionable insights.

• Utilize accounting software effectively, adapting quickly to new technologies and systems.

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with team members to optimize financial operations and reporting.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision and timeliness. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in accrual accounting.

• Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.

• Strong ability to perform bank reconciliations and journal entry preparation.

• Familiarity with accounting software and aptitude for learning new technologies.

• High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.

• Effective organizational and time management skills.

• Results-driven mindset with a commitment to achieving goals.
