Generator Electrical TestTechnician

A Snapshot of Your Day

Join Siemens Energy and play a vital role in validating power generation

equipment that will meet global energy demands for years to come. You will be

part of our lead factory for generator manufacturing, where your contributions

will directly impact the future of energy. Imagine the satisfaction of ensuring

that our generators operate safely and efficiently, supporting a sustainable

energy landscape.

How You’ll Make an Impact

+ You will safely test high voltageelectrical generators and generator components, including stators, rotors,and excitation equipment.

+ You will assist in preparing the balancefacility for rotor and exciter balances electrical tests and will run thetests

+ You will make and support cranemoves, ensuring smooth operations.

+ You will have the opportunity to work invarious areas of the campus on different products as needed.

What You Bring

+ You are familiar with high voltage testing

+ You are proficient in using computers toaccess and provide data.

+ You bring a minimum of 3-5 years ofexperience in performing electrical work including electrical testing.

+ You have successfully completed theSiemens Energy Electrical Tester exam (we will invite you to take the examprior to joining the team)

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United

States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work

authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be

eligible for internal transfers.

Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a criminalbackground check, pre-employment drug screen, and any other test(s) requiredfor the role.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through

service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas

turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization

opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of

the fleet.
