We are currently looking for an HR Intern for our Houston, TX office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The HR Intern will provide hands-on support across key HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, compensation and administrative operations. This role is designed to offer exposure to core HR processes while contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR team.
Data Analysis & Reporting
+ Compile and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, and time-to-fill.
+ Assist in preparing reports for leadership and HRBP review.
+ Review internal data and provide analysis on compensation trends.
Recruiting Support
+ Draft and post job descriptions on internal and external platforms.
+ Manage candidate tracking and update applicant status in Dayforce or ATS.
+ Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics with hiring managers and candidates.
+ Support onboarding activities including new hire paperwork and orientation setup.
+ Assist with university outreach and internship fair coordination.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
