    The Services & Solutions Portfolio Director acts as a Strategic Business Partner to the VP/GM, responsible for driving the Business Unit (BU) strategic planning and deployment. This role oversees major initiatives across the BU to deliver on growth, profitability, and strategic objectives, serving as a catalyst for business transformation and operational excellence.

     

    The Portfolio Director will manage a team of Product Line Leaders, ensuring effective business execution that drives P&L performance. This leader will formulate and implement growth strategies – both organic and inorganic – and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve BU goals.

     

    The ideal candidate brings a strong background in services business, particularly in digital services supporting customers’ digital transformation, leveraging advanced technologies and system-level approaches (e.g., Asset Performance Management) to enable innovation and business model evolution

    Key Responsibilities

    + Formulates and drives execution of the BU growth plan, including organic initiatives and inorganic opportunities such as M&A and strategic collaborations.

    + Leads and manages Product Line teams across global parts, repairs, and services to ensure business execution that delivers P&L objectives.

    + Leads the development and execution of the BU’s CORE (80/20) product portfolio strategy, establishing long-term vision, roadmap, lifecycle management from product conception to end-of-life, and annual planning to optimize portfolio health and resource allocation.

    + Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Operations/QRC Network, Commercial Operations, Engineering, and Finance to execute strategic initiatives, align priorities, and ensure cohesive business performance.

    + Drives pricing strategy, incorporating both transactional and value-based models to enhance margin and competitiveness.

    + Engages directly with customers and partners with Sales to identify spoken and unspoken needs, translating insights into differentiated offerings and growth opportunities.

    + Champions business model innovation and digital service development, leveraging advanced digital technologies and system-level approaches such as Asset Performance Management (APM) to accelerate customer productivity and business growth.

    + Monitors market and competitive trends to inform strategic adjustments and maintain market leadership.

    + Develops and mentors a high-performing global team, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

    •** **Qualifications & Experience

    + 10+ years of progressive experience driving strategic planning, product management, or services innovation.

    + Proven success in services businesses, preferably digital services supporting customers’ digital transformation journeys.

    + Demonstrated experience in formulating and executing growth strategies, including M&A integration and business transformation initiatives.

    + Strong track record of business model innovation and digital enablement using system-level approaches (e.g., Asset Performance Management).

    + Experience managing product line teams globally and delivering results through cross-functional leadership.

    + Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives that deliver measurable financial results.

    + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing at executive levels.

    + Demonstrated ability to develop and upskill talent, fostering leadership capability across global teams.
