    Vac Form Operator

     

    Shift: 3pm to 11pm

     

    The Vac Form Operator position is responsible for the operation of the Vacuum formers and achieving the quantity and quality of production required

    MAJOR RESPONSIBLITIES

    * Set up and operate vacuum forming equipment to assure timely production.

    * Mount cutting dies, mold bases, up stackers, and thermoform tooling.

    * Troubleshoot minor variations in production components in order to maintain stringent quality standards.

    * Use scales for weigh counting finished parts.

    * Track temporary employee hours.

    * Enter data, as required, using WRMD\u2019s proprietary programs and software.

    * Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.

    * Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    * Overtime is required.

    * Perform other duties as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    High school diploma or GED minimum. Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in the Vac Form Industry. The position requires knowledge of set-up and tear down operations and tooling requirements. Familiar or knowledge of database software, inventory software, and order processing. Additional experience in the plastic industry is preferred. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to travel and/or work overtime depending on customer requirements
