    Laboratory Instrument Technician II/Quality Control Analyst II

    **1 Year contract** - Conversion potential

    **Pay: 30** .00-35.00 DOE

    Responsible for calibration, qualification, troubleshooting, and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure reliable performance and regulatory compliance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform routine and scheduled calibrations and preventive maintenance on instruments (HPLC, GC, balances, spectrophotometers).

    + Lead/support equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).

    + Maintain accurate calibration, qualification, and validation records (GMP/GLP/ISO).

    + Troubleshoot instrument issues and coordinate vendor repairs or service.

    + Support Computer System Validation/Software Assurance (CSV/CSA).

    + Assist with audits by providing instrument documentation and technical details.

    + Train analysts on proper instrument use, care, and documentation.

    + Evaluate new technologies/equipment and support method or instrument transfers.

    + Maintain lab safety, equipment logs, and cleanliness.

    Qualifications

    + BS in Science (Chemistry or Biochemistry)

    + 2–3 years of experience in laboratory instrument calibration, maintenance, and qualification.

    + Knowledge of CSV/CSA and regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, ISO).

    + Strong technical troubleshooting and documentation skills.

    Preferred

    + Experience with calibration management software and electronic documentation systems.

    + Understanding of data integrity and risk-based validation.

    + Instrumentation or metrology certifications (ASQ CCT, GAMP) a plus
