Patient Access Representative

About the Role

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Patient Access Representative, where you’ll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to members and health plans. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage a high volume of inbound calls (50+ per day) from members and health plans.

+ Provide outstanding customer service by resolving inquiries promptly and professionally.

+ Accurately document all interactions in compliance with company standards and HIPAA regulations.

+ Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks consistently.

+ Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and faxing as needed.

Required Qualifications

+ Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

+ Data Accuracy: Strong attention to detail for precise data entry and record management.

+ Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology and patient access processes.

+ Industry Experience: Previous experience in healthcare or insurance workflows preferred.

+ Call Center Expertise: Comfortable handling high call volumes in a fast-paced setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Northridge, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
