    Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialty alumina products across the country and has become a major supplier for the ceramic, refractory and glass industry. This team produces a broad range of high quality aluminas as well as other refined mineral products on a daily basis. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team!

     

    **Pay** : $115k-$135k salary

    **Location** : Cincinnati, Ohio

    Responsibilities:

    + Design mechanical components and systems using 2D/3D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

    + Develop, apply, and maintain engineering calculations and accurate bills of materials to support mechanical design and production.

    + Independently lead large capital projects ($1M+) from concept through implementation.

    + Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to improve performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives within mechanical systems and processes.

    + Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing plant equipment and systems.

    + Evaluate, select, and coordinate the purchase and installation of new mechanical systems.

    + Create and update CAD designs for mechanical components and systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

    + 2–4 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role.

    + Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

    + Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent) required.

    + Experience leading large scale projects is preferred

    + Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering calculations, and production processes.

    + Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
