    Position Overview:

    Observes and analyzes cardiac rhythms of monitored patients; reports and responds appropriately to the Registered Nurse any changes in patient's rhythm.

     

    **Job Description** :

    EDUCATION

    + HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

    + Other: Completion of EKG monitoring course

    + Other: Completions of Monitor Technician Training

    + Other: Medical Terminology

    + Other: Cardiac Arrythmia recognition

    + Other: Cardiac drugs and drips

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

    ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

    Previous telemetry monitoring

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    + Computer System

    + Photocopier

    + Fax

    Pay Range is $34.15 to $44.53 / hour
