    Modality: Special EducationTeacher (SPED)

    Start Date: ASAP

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM (6.5 hrs/day)

     

    Local Pay Rate: $48/hr

     

    Length of Contract: At least 2 months (possible extension)

     

    Classroom Setting: Mild/Moderate (M/M)

     

    Grade Level: Elementary

     

    Caseload: Up to 24 students

     

    About the Role

     

    We’re seeking a passionate SpecialEducation Teacher to join for a short-term assignment with the potential toextend. In this role, you’ll provide specialized instruction, collaborate withgeneral education staff, and help students succeed academically and socially.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals

    + Provide tutorial assistance and consult with general education staff

    + Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district standards

    + Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring

    Minimum Requirements

    + Active Special Education teaching credential (minimum preliminary requirement)

    + Experience working in school settings

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
