    Position: ABA Tutor

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Duration: 2025–2026 School Year

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

     

    Pay Rate: $28/hour

    About the Role

    We are seeking an ABA Tutor to join a school in Westwood and provide individualized behavioral and academic support to elementary students. This role focuses on implementing programs developed by behavioral specialists and assisting students with significant behavioral and developmental needs in a structured, supportive environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to assist students with disabilities.

    + Implement educational and behavioral plans while maintaining accurate data collection and graphing.

    + Deliver one-on-one or small group support in classroom, community, and home settings.

    + Ensure continuous visual supervision and adhere to safety protocols, including bolting and lost child procedures.

    + Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as toileting and self-care, when needed.

    + Support students exhibiting challenging behaviors, including aggression, self-injury, and acting out.

    + Apply reinforcement techniques to encourage positive behaviors and reduce interfering behaviors.

    + Collaborate with BCBAs and special education staff to follow structured treatment plans.

    + Monitor progress and provide feedback under BCBA supervision.

    Qualifications

    + Prior experience with ABA required.

    + Ability to work with students who may display aggressive or self-injurious behaviors.

    + Strong skills in data collection and implementing behavior interventions.

    + Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.

    + Comfortable assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
