Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant – $50/hr Local | $2,200/week Travel – Palo Alto, CA – Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing speech and language services. Responsibilities include clinical, educational, documentation, and treatment-related activities within the scope of care assigned by the supervising SLP and/or physician.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Palo Alto, CA

+ Start Date: January 5, 2026

+ End Date: Remainder of the school year (6 months)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday

+ Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

+ Duration: 6 months

+ Pay Rate: $50/hr local or $2,200/week travel | W2 position

+ Openings: 1

Responsibilities:

+ Assist in providing speech and language therapy services

+ Support documentation and treatment activities

+ Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist

+ Comply with all state and district regulations

Requirements:

+ Graduate of an SLPA program with associate’s degree OR bachelor’s in speech-language pathology or communication disorders

+ Minimum 100 hours of supervised field work experience

+ Current SLPA certification/licensure in California

+ One year of prior SLPA experience preferred

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
