As a Microelectronic Technician I with PCB Piezotronics, Inc., you will cooperates as a team member of transducer assembly to help the team best serve the customer.
Additional Duties:
+ Cooperates as a team member of transducer assembly to help the team best serve the customer.
+ Understands role in implementing the ISO 9001 standard and complies with all aspects of the standard.
+ Understands and promotes our quality statement of “Total Customer Satisfaction”.
+ Responsible for knowing and following all ESD policies and procedures.
+ Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings regarding all amplifiers.
+ Performs basic assemblies by following all assembly procedures for microelectronics assembly. Fills out and maintains all forms relating to amplifier assembly.
+ Sets up and adjusts equipment for microelectronics assembly. Performs heavy wire bonding and manual gold wire bonding to maintain high quality bonds. Adjusts bonder to prevent breakage of tools, adjusts gold wire bonder to maintain uniform and strong bonds.
+ Works closely with supervisor in prioritizing work for the production log.
+ Mixes cures and epoxies in accordance with procedures and product data sheets.
+ Assembles amplifiers using tweezers, microscopes, epoxies and bonders, making sure parts are oriented correctly.
+ Assists in maintaining adequate inventory. Letting the lead tech know when parts are getting low.
+ Keeps works area clean and free of dirt or contamination. Cleans benches on a weekly or daily basis.
+ Performs other related duties as directed to ensure efficient operation of department and PCB.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Education: High School graduate or equivalent
+ Experience: One to three years or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Ability to read assembly drawings.
+ Able to work with very small parts under microscope

International Traffic in Arms Regulations
This position requires access to “controlled technology” as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730 et. seq.) and “technical data” as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
