    The opportunity

     

    Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Winter Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Wuksachi Lodge in Sequoia National Park, California. As a Winter Maintenance Team Member, you will be responsible for performing snow removal, ice control, and other preventative maintenance tasks.     Pay

    $18.00 - $22.00 / hour

    What will you do?

     

    + Apply ice melt or sand to walkways, stairs, and high-traffic areas tomaintainsafety

    + Perform light preventative maintenance, including replacing bulbs, minor repairs, and simple equipment checks

    + Operate small equipment safely, such as snow blowers and hand tools, while following all safety policies and wearing required PPE

    + Conduct daily inspections of assigned areas for hazards and keep maintenance areas clean and organized

    + Provide excellent internal customer service to team members and guests

    More about you

    + Basic maintenance skills or mechanical aptitude required

    + Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

    + Previous experience in facilities, groundskeeping, maintenance, or similar work preferred

    + Experience working in snowy or mountainous environments preferred

    + Must be in good standing in home departmentwithno significant corrective counseling on file

    + No degree required

    Physical requirements

    + Must be able to work outdoors in winter conditions, including snow, ice, wind, and low temperatures

    + Ability tolift upto 50 pounds

    + Ability to stand for extended periods of time
