    The Regional Migration Principal (RMP) is one of the highest levels of expertise in all thing’s migration

     

    related. You will focus on the implementation and coordination of the operational aspects of ongoing

     

    system migrations in your region, working very closely with Area Migration Leads (AML). You will

     

    serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, regional management and the

     

    Migration CoE. You will review status of migration planning to ensure that migrations are properly

     

    planned, including registration with the Migration CoE, and executed following all standard policies and

     

    processes.

     

    Each Service Business Director (SBD) should have at least one (1) Regional Migration Principal in his

     

    team or more depending on the migration business requirements for that SBD. The successful candidate

     

    for each region will report directly to the SBD and Matrix report to the Pole Migration Champion.

     

    Critical Regionals of focus are migration planning and implementation to include audit verification and

     

    full site review to ensure that the Migration CoE deliver a migration package. The RMP will champion lower overall delivery cost while improving bandwidth

     

    of customer facing engineers. The proper planning and execution of customer critical migrations

     

    eliminates errors during the migration, which can lead to delayed revenue and poor customer quality

     

    scores.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + As an RMP, you must ensure consistent global best-practices are used before, during andafter migrations.

    + As an RMP you may be required to work on-site or remotely with the local Project andService organizations or directly with the customer throughout the migration lifecycleparticularly for critical, emergency and escalation situations.

    + As an RMP you will be required to work with the Pole Migration Champion, GTAC, DE,Product Marketing and other Global stakeholders to identify migration issues and drive issuesresolution and root cause analysis, ensuring multiple migrations in your region do notencounter the same issue.

    + As an RMP you will obtain and retain DCS OPM L5 certification, you will successfullycomplete live On-Process Migrations and/or RMS and shall be recognized within Honeywellas a Regional Migration Principal (Experion & TDC).

    + As an RMP you will connect with and be mentored by the Migration CoE, who collatelessons learned from migrations globally and share their knowledge via weekly KnowledgeSharing Meetings, optimized documentation and updates in product training, you will be theregional Single Point of contact (SPOC).

    + As an RMP, you will drive regional Knowledge Sharing through all OPM L4/3/2/1employees.

    + As an RMP, you will assist in investigate migration Opportunities for Improvement toimprove the customer experience.

    + As an RMP, you will be an active member of the Global Regional Migration PrincipalsCommunity.

    + As an RMP, you may be required to be an active member of the Global Migration AdvisoryBoard.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Be Certified at DCS OPM L5 and maintain yearly re-certification at DCS OPM L5.

    + Have an ability to influence across a broader organization.

    + Partner with Solution Architects and TSCs and or Sales to present migration solutions tocustomers.

    + Actively participate in all Migration CoE knowledge Sharing Sessions in your time zoneCascade Migration CoE knowledge Sharing Sessions to RMLs.

    + Be able and willing to travel, to provide support and or execute migrations within the region.

    + Include a HPD goal that will be provided each year from the Migration Business leadership, andcascaded down to each RMP, you must include this goal during HPD goal settings. The goal willinclude the metrices needed to complete the goal.
