    Our unit provides high-acuity patient care focusing on respiratory conditions, ENT surgeries, chemotherapy, and palliative/comfort care.

     

    _Minimum hiring rate: $33.75 (non BSN RN), $35.50 (BSN). Candidates will be placed into the appropriate title and pay rate by recruitment._

    What we are looking for in an RN:

    + Safe work practices, patient teaching, supporting new staff, continuous development

    + Applying the nursing process, improving quality of care, identifying opportunities for quality improvement

    Qualifications:

    + 0-2 years experience, BSN preferred

    + Good clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

    + Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, lifting, and positioning of patients

    Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

    + UPMC-approved national certification preferred.

    + Current licensure as a **Registered Professional Nurse** either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    + Graduate Nurses will have 120 days from graduation to obtain the RN License
