    Job Description

    Our Traffic/Technology Team is at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for traffic management, signal systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). With a proven track record of excellence, we are dedicated to improving traffic operations, safety, and pedestrian circulation for cities and communities.

     

    As a Licensed Traffic Engineer on our Traffic/Technology team, you will lead and perform traffic impact studies for **data center developments** , ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal transportation requirements. This is a **client-facing role** , where you will engage directly with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to deliver high-quality solutions. You will analyze roadway networks, intersections, and access points to assess impacts and propose mitigation strategies.

    What you'll do:

    + Lead traffic impact analyses for data center developments, including trip generation, traffic modeling, and capacity analysis.

    + Prepare technical reports for permitting, development approvals, and transportation planning.

    + Design and evaluate roadway improvements, intersection design, and access management using Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, and VISSIM.

    + Collaborate with civil engineers, transportation planners,clients, and regulatory agencies to develop traffic mitigation strategies.

    Qualifications

    You are passionate about:

    + Working collaboratively with others.

    You bring to the team:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license (required).

    + 4–10 years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, or traffic impact studies.

    + Proficiency in traffic analysis software: Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS.

    + Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.

    + Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to clients and agencies.

    + Experience with data center projects, industrial developments, or large-scale commercial projects (preferred).
