    The Role

     

    As a Compensation Associate, you will manage multiple survey projects and contribute to high-profile consulting engagements within our Global Financial Services Industry group. This is a unique opportunity to influence compensation strategies across leading financial institutions worldwide.

     

    What You will Do

     

    You will manage the full compensation survey cycle — from launch to report delivery — ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely results. Acting as the primary client contact, you will lead job matching sessions, resolve data issues, and deliver clear insights that strengthen client relationships and drive participation.

     

    You will analyze large datasets, interpret compensation trends, and prepare impactful reports and presentations. Beyond survey management, you will support bespoke consulting projects such as benchmarking, incentive plan design, and regulatory updates, while contributing to broader initiatives like industry research, training, and business development.

     

    This hybrid role is based in Stamford, CT, with the team currently meeting in office two days per week. This practice reflects our current team approach and may evolve based on future business needs.

     

    Your work will directly shape compensation strategies for leading financial institutions worldwide.

    Qualifications

    + 1–3 years of compensation survey experience

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    + Corporate exposure through internships, part-time roles, or related education

    + Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings

    Skills

    + Strong analytical and project management abilities

    + Exceptional organizational and time management skills

    + Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills

    + High attention to detail and commitment to quality

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

    + Results-driven mindset focused on business success

    + Proficiency in databases and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); advanced Excel skills preferred

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Background in Human Resources or prior consulting experience

    + Advanced Excel expertise (statistical analysis, graphs, lookups, formulas)

    + Experience working with global financial services clients

    + Familiarity with compensation program design and market practice reporting
