    Description

    _Network Administrator Lead III (Training Network) Senior_

     

    _Onsite in Hohenfels, Germany_

    Responsibilities include; but not limited to:

    + Leads ongoing J10, JNN and JNTC network support, addresses availability issues, overcomes performance problems.

    + Installs, maintains, and coordinates the use of network systems.

    + Manages network performance, diagnoses performance problems, and undertakes tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements.

    + Troubleshoots and resolves problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network.

    + Reports on overall network performance including frequent problems, underlying issues and plans to improve network availability, performance, and problem resolution.

    + Trains users, maintains, creates, and deletes user accounts. Manages and updates system security plans on all platforms.

    + Creates, implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards.

    + Enforces network security policies and procedures.

    **Degree(s)/Years of Experience:** (10+BA/BS or 5+MA/MS) or (14+AA/No Degree).

    **Certification(s):** 8570 DoD Certification

    Experience:

    + Experience leading ongoing J10, JNN, and JNTC network support, addressing availability issues and overcoming performance problems.

    + Skilled in installing, maintaining, and coordinating the use of network systems.

    + Experience managing network performance, diagnosing performance problems, and undertaking tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLA requirements.

    + Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network.

    + Experience reporting on overall network performance, including frequent problems, underlying issues, and plans to improve network availability, performance, and problem resolution.

    + Experience training users, maintaining, creating, and deleting user accounts.

    + Experience managing and updating system security plans on all platforms.

    + Experience creating, implementing, and coordinating network policies, procedures, and standards.

    + Experience enforcing network security policies and procedures.
