    Rogue Disposal Transfer Station Spotter/Utility Position

    Schedule: Tues-Sat, 8:00am-4:30pm, Flexible Schedule 40-50 hours per week.

    Competitive Compensation:

    Starting Pay: $20.00-$23.00/Hour DOE

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY:

    The Utility position is the first point of contact for trucks coming onto our site, directing traffic and ensuring a safe working environment. This is a demanding role that requires focus while working outside in the elements.

     

    .

     

    + Yard and facility maintenance including debris and clean up

    + Picking up litter

    + Picking up and sweeping windblown trash

    + General site clean up

    + Various utility tasks as needed

    + Learning the operations of transfer station

    + Specific duties can change on the daily basis as operation needs change

    + Spotting Trucks

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    + At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position.

    + Experience operating equipment is a plus

    + Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift

    + Mechanical ability a plus.

    + The ability to continually lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout an 8-10 hr. shift.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

    + Exposed to different weather year round.

    + Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

    + Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects of up to 50 lbs.

    + Knowledge of light equipment operation and maintenance a plus.

    + Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
