    Job Description

    Day-to-Day:

    We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant with strong general ledger (GL) accounting skills and a focus on tax-related processes. This role involves tax reconciliation, month-end close activities, and preparing tax packages for managerial review.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform tax reconciliations for VAT and Sales Tax; ensure accuracy in GL postings.

    • Review Indirect Taxes, International VAT, and US Sales Tax entries to the GL.

    • Prepare and package tax provisions, returns, and work papers for manager review.

    • Support cash tax forecasting and manage tax-related documentation.

    • Oversee month-end close processes and maintain compliance with deadlines.

    • Manage tax calendars and due dates to ensure timely submissions.

    Skills and Requirements

    Must-Haves:

    • Experience: 3–5 years in Tax Accounting (heavy senior or light manager level).

    • Background: In-house tax accounting experience preferred; GL accounting focus required.

    • Technical Skills:

    • NetSuite experience (reporting and Client PBC).

    • Familiarity with OneSource as sales tax engines.

     

    Education: CPA designation or equivalent education.
