Job Description

The Sr. Business Rules Analyst consults with client companies to gather business rulesets requirements to bridge the needs of the business with the use of IT. This includes determining client and organizational needs, system and operational requirements, downstream system impacts, and legal compliance obligations

• Work with end-users to complete business requirements for business rulesets and associated attribute development. Business rulesets include:

o Automated underwriting rules for new business

o Automated Renewal Workflow rules

o Letter of Authority rules

o MVR/Driver Management rules

o Product rules

• Oversee functional testing and implementation of attributes and business rules to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Provides Subject Matter Expertise and deep functional system and product expertise, including upstream/downstream impact of changes.

• Acts on a consultative role to provide resolutions to complex problems.

• Provides strong customer relationships and has good understanding of how corporation/company operates.

• Lead meetings with teams within company and/or customers regarding projects, enhancements and support.

• Maintain thorough documentation of processes and support ad hoc analysis as needed.

• Travel for this position is up to 10%.

Skills and Requirements

• Property & Casualty Insurance experience (commercial lines ideally)

• Understand Underwriting process

• And/Or Exposure to Automation Rules in Insurance

7+ years of Technical Business Analyst experience · Guidewire PolicyCenter experience.

Unit Testing experience
