    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for 6 Electro-Mechanical Technicians in the Findlay Township PA area. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new products. This individual should be comfortable with occasional travel and standard work hours. The Electro-Mechanical Technician will assemble and wire a range of drive products including AC & DC drives, variable speed drives, motor exciter, remote I/O stations, and operator stations. This Technician will also be responsible for performing modifications to metal panels and enclosures, wiring components per electrical schematics, assembling components onto panels and into enclosures, and more. The preferrable candidate should have well rounded knowledge of UL508A standards and a minimum of 2 years experience within the manufacturing/assembly/wiring space.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or minimum 2 years of related industry experience

     

    2+ years manufacturing/assembly/wiring experience

     

    Familiar with assembly and wiring a range of drive product including AC & DC drives, variable speed drives, motor exciters, remote I/O stations, and operator stations

     

    Knowledge of UL508A standards

     

    Panel assembly and wiring experience.

     

    Assemble components onto panels and into enclosures following mechanical layout and assembly drawings with zero deficiencies.

     

    Wire components per electrical schematics following predefined guidelines and work standards.

     

    Capable of completing minor modifications to metal panels and enclosures including cutting, drilling, and tapping
