    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Security Technician in Chattanooga, TN to install, test, and commission security systems for large-scale projects. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, creating “As Built” drawings, and preparing reports for system acceptance tests. Technicians will maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines and consult with clients to assess risks and determine security requirements. Candidates should have experience with access controls, networking, and conduit installation, with willingness to learn fire systems. They will be working with servers and implementing software licenses.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    2-5 years install/servicing access control & cameras

     

    Experience with network infrastructure (PA systems, fire alarm)

     

    Lenel or Avigilon programming experience (Certs a plus)

     

    Conduit experience (not coaxial)

     

    IP based camera/access systems Network background/certifications

     

    Will to learn fire systems

     

    Lifts: Scissor or Boom Lift

     

    Experience with Sequel
