• Senior Systems Engineer

    ManTech seeks a motivated, career-driven, and customer-focused **Senior Systems** **Engineer** to join our team in **Columbia, MD** . You will play a critical role in supporting the enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global, mission-focused workforce. This position supports the high-visibility Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization, responsible for the delivery and security of MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT)—the foundation for enterprise-wide services. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will work alongside customers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and vendors to support the implementation and compliance of advanced EIT capabilities through Data Center & Compute Services.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    + Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements, and provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements into ongoing operations.

    + Leads design and development activities for mission critical hardware solutions utilizing various design tools such as: Brave, Visio, JavaScript, Object Notation (JSON), and macro enabled spreadsheets.

    + Ensure new technologies can be integrated with existing systems and plan for future requirements, refreshes, replacements, and upgrades.

    + Coordinate meetings with vendors, manufactures, network, server, and sustainment personnel to develop engineering management plans such as: rack elevations, floor plans, network designs, system integration, etc.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree with 15 years of relevant experience OR high school diploma/GED with 20 years of relevant experience.

    + Experience working with customers at various levels.

    + Experience with developing and gathering mission critical requirements and designing optimal enterprise solutions.

    + Experience with the Brave design tool, Visio, JavaScript, Object Notation (JSON), and macro enabled spreadsheets.

    + Experience with developing design documentation such as: rack elevations, floor plans, network design, and power/space/cooling requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience working with Vendors and Manufacturers.

    + Experience leading the various refresh, replacement, and upgrade efforts.

    Clearance Requirements:

    + Must possess and maintain a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

    Physical Requirements:

    + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

    + Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

    + Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
