    What You'll Be Doing: Your Role in Action

     

    As an Assembler, you will be primarily focused on the hands-on assembly, testing, and packaging of our high-quality products. Working independently under general direction, you will be responsible for building complete units from start to finish.

     

    Core Assembly Responsibilities

     

    + Precision Assembly: Perform detailed work to assemble and test a variety of electronic and cable assemblies, ensuring accuracy and quality at every step.

    + Equipment Mastery: Operate essential production equipment, including stripping, tinning, crimping, mechanical assembly tools, soldering stations, testing fixtures, and packaging equipment.

    + Quality First: Conduct ongoing, self-executed quality audits of your products and processes, demonstrating a keen attention to detail.

    + Following Instructions: Utilize manufacturing routers, work orders, drawings, bills of material, and special instructions (written, verbal, or computerized) to guide your work.

    + Measurement & Testing: Use common measuring devices like multimeters, micrometers, rulers, cable scanners, and computer test equipment to verify product integrity.

     

    Packaging & Workflow Support

     

    + Finish Line: Carefully pack and transfer finished goods to meet customer specifications and ensure proper packaging methodology.

    + Inventory & Labeling: Receive finished goods, print labels, segregate, and identify parts to assure components are correctly kitted for customer orders.

    + Team Communication: Promptly communicate any discrepancies or issues to appropriate production groups to maintain workflow efficiency.

    + Workplace Excellence: Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation following our 5S+1 program and performing routine maintenance as needed.

    What You'll Bring to the Team

    Minimum Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required.

    + Basic reading and math skills.

     

    Preferred Experience (A Plus, But Not Required!)

     

    + Some experience in assembly or a related manufacturing environment.

    + Prior Soldering experience.

    + Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools.

    + Technical certifications or degrees.

     

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

     

    + The job consists of both standing and sitting at a workstation and wearing safety glasses, covered shoes, and steel toe shoes in designated areas.

    + The job does include some light lifting and carrying usually no more than 15-20 pounds.

    + Requires ability to distinguish colors (essential for cable and electronic assembly, including identification of color-coded wires, components, and quality inspection).
