    Overview

    **Position Summary:** The General Maintenance Technician II completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.

     

    Pay: $28.50 per hour.

     

    The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

     

    **Schedule** : These positions are on a 12-hour, rotating shift, schedule. Below is the shift we are hiring for:

    + 3rd Shift: 6:00 pm - 6:30 am

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older

    • No experience required and on the job training provided

    • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Must be 18 years of age or older

    + A valid State Driver's License is required (MVR Check is Required)

    + 4-11 Years of experience as a General Maintenance Technician

    + Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools.

    + Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks.

    + Must possess organizational skills.

    + Must be able to perform unsupervised.

    Responsibilities:

    + Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, instrumentation, and other equipment, systems or structures

    + Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities

    + Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary

    + Basic ability to perform tasks such as:

    + Replacing faucets, unclogging drains, simple fixture installations

    + Patching drywall, small touch-up painting

    + Replacing sections of flooring (e.g., tile)

    + Assisting with roof repairs (small leaks)

    + Minor general repairs (door adjustments, tightening fixtures, clearing drains)
