Security Officer (Rover) – Commercial Property/Garage Patrol

Are you professional, observant, and proactive? We are looking for a reliable Security Officer (Rover) to support two adjacent properties: a busy commercial complex on weekends and a high-traffic parking garage on Wednesdays. This position is ideal for an officer who enjoys active patrol, customer interaction, and maintaining a strong security presence.

Position Overview:

In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for patrolling both sites exclusively by golf cart , ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of each property. You will serve as the first line of defense—monitoring activity, responding to incidents, and providing assistance to tenants, drivers, visitors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Conduct continuous golf cart patrols throughout both properties

+ Maintain visibility and deter unwanted activity through professional presence

+ Assist drivers, tenants, vendors, and visitors with directions and information

+ Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering and exiting the facilities

+ Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, alarms, or safety concerns

+ Document activity, observations, and incidents clearly and accurately

+ Communicate effectively with management, staff, and on-site personnel

What We’re Looking For:

+ Strong situational awareness and attention to detail

+ Excellent communication and customer service skills

+ Ability to remain calm, professional, and proactive under pressure

+ Dependability and punctuality—this role requires consistent attendance

+ Comfortable operating a golf cart for the duration of each shift

Requirements:

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a security role (commercial, gated community, or similar setting strongly preferred)

+ MUST live within 20 miles of site - 77054

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Valid driver’s license (golf cart operation required)

+ Reliable transportation to and from work

+ Exceptional communication and customer service skills

+ Professional appearance and demeanor - NO NECK, FACE OR BELOW THE WRIST TATTOS

+ Strong judgment and decision-making abilities

Bonus Qualities (Preferred)

+ Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or private security

+ Familiarity with commercial property security operations

+ Experience writing detailed incident and daily reports
