Job Description

General Purpose

Maintain safe and efficient operation of filler equipment while maximizing production up-time, minimizing shrink, and maintaining quality.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

+ Available to work 3rd Shift 9:30 PM - 6:00 AM. SUN, MON, TUE, FRI, SAT. OFF WED, THU

+ Perform safe and effective set up, operation, and cleaning of the aseptic filling equipment

+ Conduct the sterilization and manual washing of machine components

+ Perform routine basic chemical concentration tests

+ Conduct basic troubleshooting of equipment and contact maintenance when necessary

+ Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately

+ Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

+ Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

Education and Experience

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ Production or general work experience preferred

+ Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Able to follow directions and carry out instructions

+ Able to effectively work in a team environment

+ Able to legibly write entries for record keeping

+ Able to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

+ Must be able to read, write and speak English
