• CT Aide

    Medical Center Hospital (Odessa, TX)


    Position Summary:

    Under the supervision of CT technologists, the CT Aide will assist in patient care, clerical & transport duties. They will also perform other assigned duties for which they have been specifically trained.

    Qualifications:

    A. Education:

     

    High school diploma or equivalent required. Acceptance to accredited radiology program preferred.

     

    B. Training and Experience:

     

    Must successfully complete computer training. Knowledge of some medical and technical terminology and hospital policies and procedures.

    Unusual Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

    A. Ability to perform:

    1. Heavy lifting.

    2. Sustained walking, standing and sitting.

    B. Will encounter exposure to infectious diseases and ionizing radiation.

    C. Ability to work under stress.

    D. Varied working hours and shifts.
