• ADABAS / Natural Administrator

    HTC Global Services Inc (Charlotte, NC)


    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ADABAS / Natural Administrator with solid expertise in DB2 and ADABAS-Natural to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in high-availability environments and have a strong background in core mainframe technologies including IBM z/OS, VSAM, and related tools.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide L1/L2 support for mainframe applications and databases

    + Analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions

    + Monitor and maintain DB2 and ADABAS databases to ensure performance and reliability

    + Operate within IBM z/OS to manage batch jobs, system logs, and resources

    + Manage VSAM file structures and ensure data integrity

    + Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for seamless operations

    + Document procedures and contribute to a support knowledge base

    Required Skills:

    + Mandatory experience in DB2 and ADABAS-Natural

    + Strong proficiency in IBM z/OS, VSAM, and mainframe utilities

    + Hands-on experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and related tools

    + Good knowledge of system performance tuning and job scheduling

    + Strong analytical and communication skills

    + Experience in the banking or financial services domain is a plus
