Facility Foreman** **Position Overview
The Facility Foreman is responsible for the daily oversight of plant operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient handling of materials throughout the facility. This role manages and supports key operational functions such as drum pumping and dumping, tank farm activities, retail consolidation, wastewater operations, truck offloading/loading, and groundwater sampling. The Facility Foreman provides direction to operations staff, maintains documentation accuracy, and upholds all regulatory, safety, and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
Pay - $23 - $25 an hour
You will be working out of the 330 South 75th Ave
+ Perform core plant operations including drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, wastewater treatment, truck offloading/loading, and groundwater sampling.
+ Ensure all paperwork, manifests, and waste-tracking documentation are completed accurately and submitted promptly after processing.
+ Provide supervision, guidance, and direction to operations staff; ensure work practices meet all compliance and safety standards.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Oversee sampling, leachate collection, and required testing to ensure all specifications are met.
+ Operate a forklift as needed to support daily operations.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
+ High school diploma required; specialized training or 1 year of college preferred.
+ 5–7 years of relevant experience in plant operations or industrial facility environments.
+ Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, train, and guide team members.
+ Strong organizational skills and initiative.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Proficiency in Windows-based applications.
+ Demonstrated proficiency in key plant operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, wastewater treatment, and truck offloading/loading.
Travel
+ Less than 10%.
Supervisory Responsibilities
+ Provides recommendations on hiring, training, scheduling, performance feedback, promotions, corrective actions, termination, and budgeting.
