Ready to help shape how healthcare professionals learn about topics that matter—like sexual and vaginal health, cervical cancer screening, and more? Our Medical Education team at Hologic works with experts across the company (and beyond!) to create educational programs that really make a difference. If you’re curious, creative, and want to see how your ideas can improve patient care, this internship is your backstage pass to the world of medical education.

What you’ll be up to during your 10-12 week adventure:

+ Dive into industry trends and engagement data to spot new educational opportunities for healthcare providers.

+ Team up with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales to brainstorm and develop awesome program ideas.

+ Help plan and coordinate virtual and in-person events—think everything from logistics to creative touches.

+ Get hands-on with program development and see how your work impacts real-world healthcare.

+ (Bonus!) You might travel to live events, where you’ll get an inside look at how education programs come to life.

Who we’re hoping to meet:

+ You can work full-time during the summer (May/June - August/September).

+ You’re currently working on your Bachelor’s degree, with at least one semester left after the internship.

+ Your major is in Marketing, PR, Communications, Event Planning, Science (with an interest in education), or something similar.

+ You’re heading into your junior or senior year.

+ You know how to get your point across, whether you’re writing or speaking.

+ You’re organized, creative, and ready to solve problems as they come up.

+ You love meeting new people and can build relationships with all kinds of stakeholders.

+ You’re not afraid to bring new ideas to the table—and you have a knack for making things better.

Location, pay & other important details:

+ You can work **onsite** at our **San Diego, CA** campus. **Heads up** : intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends aren’t provided, so you’ll need to have your living situation and transportation sorted out.

+ Pay range: $21 - $25 per hour, based on your class standing and operational function.
