Position Summary
The Clinic Ultrasound Tech performs ultrasound studies for patients across various age groups, providing technical support to the Radiologist while assisting in the care, comfort, and safety of patients. They prepare and organize exam data for interpretation, accurately document OB findings, and ensure timely preparation and release of reports. Additionally, they contribute to the development of new exams and implement changes to existing procedures to improve the quality of patient care and service delivery.
What the Clinic Ultrasound Tech will do:
+ Prepares and performs a complete range of non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound test.
+ Assist the Physician in invasive procedures including sonohysterograms and amniocentesis.
+ Provide accurate technical interpretation for Physician. Consult Physician with any abnormal findings.
+ Review patient’s chart for assessment data and clarification of orders.
+ Perform proper care and maintenance of ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation and continuity of patient service.
What the Clinic Ultrasound Tech will need:
+ Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registry eligible.
+ Available for on call coverage.
