KMPH FOX26 is seeking a Photographer/Video Journalist to join our team.

This role requires expertise in shooting and operating professional video cameras and related equipment, with a strong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling. We're looking for someone who thrives in the fast-paced, deadline-driven environment of daily local news coverage. We want people who are creative, competitive and want to win. Candidates that thrive and live on social media are a plus.

We want someone that is a fast learner, works well with others, and wants to help our audience better understand the world around them.

Ideal candidates will:

+ Be highly motivated with a proven track record in news production (can be on a college campus setting).

+ Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.

+ Be a natural problem solver who can meet constant deadlines across multiple platforms.

**Please note:** This is a **broadcast video journalist** position—not a still photography role. The schedule includes **nights, weekends, and holidays** .

Requirements:

+ 1–2 years of experience shooting and editing video content.

+ Proficiency in editing and shooting general assignment stories, working alongside reporters, conducting live shots, and assembling packages.

+ Passion for storytelling and strong non-linear editing skills (desktop and laptop systems).

+ Excellent people skills and a collaborative mindset.

+ Ability to produce compelling stories under tight deadlines.

+ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be able to operate ENG news vehicles.

+ Physical ability to regularly lift and carry 30 lbs. or more.

+ Flexible availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

+ Submission of a link to your online demo reel or portfolio showcasing recent work is required.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $16.90-$17.90 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
