As a **Security Officer - Access Point Monitor** in **Accomac, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, provide outstanding customer service, and use technology to support your duties. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.

+ Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them appropriately within the facility.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual conditions.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities and observations related to security-related matters.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and local authorities as required.

+ Follow all site-specific policies and procedures relevant to the food and beverage environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
