As a **Security Officer - Tech Facility Patrol** in **Summerville, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining composure at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential concerns.

+ Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings to the appropriate personnel.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to support a secure environment.

+ Document and report incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Support a secure atmosphere within a technology and media-focused environment by maintaining a visible presence and being attentive to surroundings.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
