What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

+ Maintain visibility throughout the retail environment to help to deter potential disruptions and provide assistance to staff and visitors.

+ Work collaboratively with store management and local authorities when required, following established guidelines.

+ Prepare clear and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergency situations, utilizing training and judgment to address issues appropriately.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
