As a **Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol** in **Lillington, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.

+ Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or law enforcement as needed.

+ Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures, including those related to the use of firearms and security-related equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
