As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.

+ Complete detailed incident reports and document observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Assist medical staff, visitors, and/or patients with security-related matters and provide information as needed.

+ Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency responders when required.

+ Remain alert to any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the healthcare environment and report findings promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
