What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any suspicious behavior.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

+ Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.

+ Document and communicate observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.

+ Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical incidents.

+ Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and state regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
